Default Web Service Sender variable problem

Hello.

I am using a Web Service Sender in version 2.2.1.5861.

I was getting odd errors from the web service. When I put a sniffer on the outgoing message, I found that the variables were being sent, rather than the variable values.

The server received the following:

Code:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<s:Body xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
${encoder.encode(${message.rawData})
</s:Body>
</s:Envelope>
Any thoughts on what the problem is would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bruce.

That's because your syntax is incorrect; instead it should be:

Code:
${encoder.encode(${message.rawData})}
Or:

Code:
$encoder.encode($message.rawData)

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.
