Cool event table purge

Is it possible to purge the event table ?

Does Mirth have the ability or a feature to purge its event table ?
Or is this something that has to be done from the DB ?

Our event table has become large and causes event searches to become very time consuming, probably spikes the processor and disk resources as well ?

Thank You.

In the events window the menu on the left shows an option to 'export all events'
Is this just the results of your current query or the entire table ?

It's not on the Events screen. Go to Settings, and then the Data Pruner tab. There is an option for pruning events and the age at which to prune them. Then you either need to enable it to run on a schedule if you want it to run regularly, or click Prune Now on the left side of the screen to run immediately.

Cool Exporting events

The only reason that I wanted to know about pruning was because the table has become so large and was hard to parse.

But there is an option to export events from the events tab, but on testing it appears that it exports the entire table and its encrypted ?

I am just trying to narrow in on some events from one day.

Thanks

That's why you need to develop a good pruning strategy aahead of time.
