Thumbs down NK1 not on next line

In a destination response transformer we have HL7v2.x outbound.

the response transformed shows...
<PID.28/>
<PID.29/>
<PID.30/>
<NK1>
<NK1.1>
<NK1.1.1>1</NK1.1.1>
</NK1.1>
<NK1.2>
etc.

...but in the final Processed Response (which is HL7) the NK1 segment is
on the same line as the PID segment and then there is a blank line after this
, before the ORC segment. All other segments are correct.

Happens in both the latest mirth connect version 3.8.0 and the older 3.6.1

Is this a mirth connect bug or something I can fix?

If you're adding the NK1 segment yourself, you're likely putting it in the wrong place. There should be a </PID> before <NK1> and it's likely further down after it instead.

I think I found the code....

if(seg.name().toString()=="NK1") {
tmp.PID.appendChild(seg);
}

Any suggestions on how to make the appendChild(seg) work. Should it be a different method?
